FineVoice review

Low-priced voice suite with cloning, dubbing and avatars, held back by support complaints and an unclear commercial-rights tier

ToolsGavel verdict

FineVoice is worth a look if price drives the decision: $71.99 a year buys 100,000 characters a month and both cloning tiers. The rating stops at 3.2 because the evidence behind it is thin (72 Trustpilot reviews, no verifiable G2 rating), the low reviews describe support and billing problems, and the page does not say which plan carries commercial rights. Use the free plan and read the terms before paying, and treat the 15-day refund window as the real trial.

What we liked

  • Basic costs $71.99 a year and includes both Instant and Professional voice cloning; ElevenLabs has Instant cloning from Starter, but Professional cloning starts at the $220/yr Creator plan (finevoice.ai/pricing, ToolsGavel ElevenLabs review)
  • Character allowances are large for the price: 100,000 a month on Basic is roughly 100 minutes of audio at the 1,000-characters-per-minute convention used in this guide, and Pro's 300,000 is roughly 5 hours (finevoice.ai/pricing)
  • One account covers text-to-speech, speech-to-text, cloning, voice design, dubbing with lip-sync, talking-photo avatars, sound effects and an API, so a small creator does not need separate tools for each (finevoice.ai)
  • The Free plan includes 3 Instant voice clones plus 1,000 characters a day, enough to judge a cloned voice before paying (finevoice.ai/pricing)
  • A 15-day money-back guarantee is printed on the pricing page, a real safety net if the support record below holds up for you (finevoice.ai/pricing)

What to watch

  • Trustpilot gives FineVoice 4.2 out of 5, but that rests on only 72 reviews, 21% of them 1-star. The low reviews we could read cluster around support that does not answer: 3 of the 4 visible, including one from June 2025 saying you cannot reach anyone about a refund, and reports of a bounced support email (Trustpilot)
  • Billing and refund complaints recur in that same low-review sample: one reviewer paid and had no access for two billing periods, another says the price rose each month against the agreement, and a December 2025 cancellation threat followed a failed voice generation. FineVoice says it replies to negative reviews, typically after more than a month (Trustpilot)
  • Monthly billing is not verified. Every price on the pricing page is annual, so a buyer who wants to test for one month has no published price to rely on (finevoice.ai/pricing)
  • The commercial-rights tier is not clearly stated. The homepage FAQ says voices from official or custom models can be used commercially, while a third-party report says community-model voices are personal use only and ties commercial use to a paid tier under older plan names. We could not read the official terms of service (finevoice.ai FAQ, FileHorse)

FineVoice is an AI voice platform from Fineshare that bundles text-to-speech, voice cloning from roughly a 30-second sample, voice design from a text prompt, dubbing with lip-sync and talking-photo avatars into one subscription. It advertises 2,700-plus voices and support for 154 languages and accents, both self-reported. Plans run from a free tier to $129.99 a year. We have an affiliate link to FineVoice, which did not change the rating below.

What FineVoice is for

The pitch is breadth at a low price. Beyond narration, the product includes a voice changer, voice isolator, audio enhancer, translator, UGC-style ad generator, sound effects, music and an API. It grew out of a Windows voice changer that launched on Product Hunt in January 2023, and the current web platform looks nothing like that early product. Product Hunt shows a single review for it, so that listing tells you little.

We did not run a listening test. We cannot say how its voices compare with ElevenLabs, and no independent benchmark we found covers it.

Ultra$10.83$129.99”Unlimited”Unlimited

Metering is by character, resets monthly and does not roll over. The “per month” column is the annual price divided by 12, so this table has no monthly-billing column. We could not find one on the page.

Price against the rest of the guide

On annual price, Basic at $71.99 sits above ElevenLabs Starter at $60 and below Speechify Studio at $100, WellSaid at $120 and Murf AI at $228. It is not the lowest-priced entry. What stands out is the cloning: Basic includes Professional cloning, which ElevenLabs holds back until its $220-a-year Creator plan (ElevenLabs has Instant cloning from Starter). The full side-by-side, including what each tool meters, is in Best AI Voice Generators.

Ultra’s “unlimited” label deserves a question to support before you buy. We found no published fair-use terms.

Licensing is the open question

If you publish audio for money, you need to know which plan grants the rights. The homepage FAQ says official and custom voices can be used commercially, and says nothing about plan tiers. The pricing page is silent on it. Third-party sources describe an older Pro or Enterprise requirement and carve out community voices as personal use only. The official terms page we tried returned a 404, so we could not settle it. Compare that with WellSaid, where the pricing page states commercial rights on Starter and up.

What users say in reviews

Trustpilot shows 4.2 out of 5 from 72 reviews, 18 of them from the past 12 months, with 65% at 5 stars and 21% at 1 star. The newest review we saw was dated September 22, 2026. The rating rests on those 72 reviews. We could not verify a G2 rating, and the Capterra listing would not load for us.

The low reviews we could read repeat two themes. Support is hard to reach: one reviewer wanted a refund and could not find anyone to help, and others reported that the support email bounced. Billing is the second: paid plans without access, and a reported price increase. We read only about four of the roughly 17 low reviews, so treat the proportions as a sample. FineVoice says it answers negative reviews but typically takes over a month.

Who should buy it, and who should skip it

FineVoice fits a solo creator who wants cloning and dubbing on a small annual budget and is willing to test on the free plan first. Save your purchase date, because the 15-day refund window is your protection.

Skip it if you need to publish commercial work with written license terms, need monthly billing, or expect a fast human reply. ElevenLabs states its commercial license at Starter and carries a G2 rating we could verify. WellSaid costs more per month but states its rights plainly.

Pricing note: FineVoice lists four plans on finevoice.ai/pricing, and every price on the page is an annual price shown as a monthly figure. Free costs $0 for 1,000 text-to-speech characters per day and 3 Instant voice clones; we could not confirm from the page whether it asks for a card. Basic shows $5.99 per month and bills $71.99 a year (the page says save 33%) for 100,000 characters a month, 50 Instant clones and 5 Professional clones. Pro shows $8.33 per month and bills $99.99 a year (save 54%) for 300,000 characters a month, 100 Instant clones and 10 Professional clones. Ultra shows $10.83 per month and bills $129.99 a year (save 57%) for what the page calls unlimited text-to-speech and clones, with no fair-use terms published. Each monthly figure is the annual price divided by 12. The page never states a true month-to-month price, so we cannot tell you what a monthly subscriber pays; a third-party listing quotes $8.99 a month, but we did not verify it. Characters reset monthly and unused ones do not carry over. We found no overage or top-up pricing. The page also mentions a 30% educator and student discount and a 15-day money-back guarantee. Verified against finevoice.ai/pricing on 2026-11-07. Nothing was purchased and no account was opened for this review.

Frequently asked questions

How much does FineVoice cost?

Free costs $0 for 1,000 characters a day and 3 Instant clones. Basic shows $5.99 a month and bills $71.99 a year for 100,000 characters a month. Pro shows $8.33 a month and bills $99.99 a year for 300,000 characters. Ultra shows $10.83 a month and bills $129.99 a year for unlimited text-to-speech and clones. The monthly figures are the annual price divided by 12, and the page does not publish a month-to-month price. Verified against finevoice.ai/pricing on 2026-11-07.

Does FineVoice allow commercial use?

Its homepage FAQ says audio from official voice models or your own custom voice models can be used commercially, and that copyrighted voices cannot. The pricing page does not say which plan includes those rights, and we could not read the official terms of service. A third-party site reports that community-model voices are for personal or parody use only. Until FineVoice names a tier in writing, ask support to confirm the plan before you publish paid work.

Can I pay FineVoice month to month?

We could not verify it. The pricing page shows only annual prices expressed per month, and none of the four plans lists a monthly rate. One third-party listing quotes $8.99 a month, but we did not confirm that against FineVoice itself. If you need to pay monthly, check the checkout page before you enter a card.

Is FineVoice legit? What do users say about support?

It is a real product with a free plan and a 4.2 out of 5 Trustpilot score, but that score comes from 72 reviews, and 21% are 1-star. The complaints we could read are about refunds, billing and support that does not reply, including a bounced support email. The pricing page promises a 15-day money-back guarantee, so keep your purchase date and email support early if something breaks.

How do I use the TOOLSGAVEL15 code?

Enter TOOLSGAVEL15 in the Add Discount field at checkout. FineVoice gave us the code on 2026-11-05 for 15% off a reader's first membership purchase and stated no expiry. We have not tested it ourselves, and we do not know whether it works on annual plans or stacks with the annual discount, so check the total before you pay.

Bottom line

FineVoice is worth a look if price drives the decision: $71.99 a year buys 100,000 characters a month and both cloning tiers. The rating stops at 3.2 because the evidence behind it is thin (72 Trustpilot reviews, no verifiable G2 rating), the low reviews describe support and billing problems, and the page does not say which plan carries commercial rights. Use the free plan and read the terms before paying, and treat the 15-day refund window as the real trial.
